Missionaries Sent from Our Church

God has graciously called out a number of families from our church to spread the Gospel around the world. Grace Baptist Church publicly serves as the sending church for the McCown and Kolb families listed below.

Missionaries We Support

Through God’s blessing and the sacrificial giving of our members, GBC joyfully supports 30 missionary families, 3 mission agencies, and 6 creative access operations around the world!

Each marker represents a missionary and their family working with local churches to help spread the Gospel to all nations.

So You Want to be a Missionary?

If you have a deeper desire for missions and want to be more involved in what God is doing around the world, consider these steps:

  • Read biographies of missionaries like Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor, Elisabeth Elliot, or Gladys Aylward.
  • Study Scripture deeply so you might be ready to teach the Bible if the opportunity comes along.
  • Study geography, culture, and, especially unreached people groups.
  • Get your passport and begin saving to go on a short-term missions trip.
  • Begin to learn another language in order to gain the skills necessary to evangelize in a foreign language.
  • Pray for passion and love for the lost.
  • Pray that God would send workers into the harvest. (Matthew 9:37-38)
  • Get to know some veteran missionaries. Interview them. Offer to take them out to eat when they visit church.
  • Contact and encourage our Grace Baptist Church missionaries via instant messenger, email, or video calling. Find out their needs and contribute to help meet them.
  • Get involved in your local church, give, disciple believers, and share the gospel with the lost already around you.
  • Check out bbfimissions.com.
  • Share your desire with your elders.
